Post Graduate Program
The Golf Performance Institute of America has a philosophy to improve players’ scoring abilities by combining a competitive atmosphere of self-reliance, responsibility and discipline with unparalleled training of the body, mind and technique. The Junior Golf Performance Academy (JGPA) adopts this style of coaching to build the most elite junior golfers in the world. The Post Graduate Program (PGP) is geared for those golfers from ages 16 - 23 that have already graduated from high school and are looking for additional year(s) of training prior to college or in preparation for a career in professional golf. The coaching philosophy of the GPIA and JGPA is to train our students most efficiently to become winners at the amateur and professional level. The GPIA has a unique approach where we specifically design programs to help our clients become better competitive golfers. Our Post Graduate Program is a perfect way to get to the next level and reach your goals and aspirations.
The PGP is a half-day program that runs Monday-Friday with a 6:1 client to coach ratio. Group and Private instruction time is customized to fit the needs of each player in our program. This will give each client more personal attention, which we firmly believe is the backbone of the GPIA. During this time, each student receives instruction on the full-swing, short game, putting and specialty shots. Clients will also have the opportunity to play two18-hole rounds of golf/per week at prestigious venues in Central Florida, follow creative and disciplined fitness/nutrition training plans and develop strong mental skills for golf with the help of our Sports Psychologist.
Customized Fitness and Nutrition Plan
The GPIA offers a unique service for all students enrolled in the Post Graduate Program that involves a complete fitness and nutrition plan. This is vital to becoming a great golfer and superior athlete. Our Director of Fitness & Nutrition will customize a fitness plan and schedule that will fit your needs for your game. This will also include weekly private training sessions with our Director of Fitness & Nutrition, Julie Forsyth at Celebration Health and Fitness Center. Nutrition is just as important when training a world class golfer. Mrs. Forsyth will also take each student grocery shopping and show them what foods and ingredients to look for when shopping for themselves. Since fitness and nutrition coexist we feel the need to stress it to our post graduate golfers looking to take their game to the highest level. We believe in doing all the small things correctly and efficiently in order to achieve huge success!
How GPIA Differs?
GPIA is committed to providing an inspiring, dynamic and multi-cultured environment where our students have the potential to flourish, expand their horizons, learn life lessons, and attain their goals. We cultivate young athletes so they are confident and prepared for the challenges that their sport, and more importantly what life, has in store. Our students are equipped to handle success as well as adversity and taught the skills to be leaders and positive role models. To accomplish this, it takes a team of well-qualified individuals in multiple areas and disciplined coaches all working together with the best interests of the students as their primary focus. It is this combined effort that is the difference between GPIA and our competition throughout the world.
