GPIA

Introduction

The GPIA is designed to bring the greatest professional, amateur, collegiate and junior golfers from around the world one step closer to reaching their dreams and aspirations in the game of golf. Our academy will spare no expense in helping our clients become the very best that they can be, both on and off of the golf course.

All of our coaches and staff members are the finest in their specialized areas of the golf business, and we intend to never let this change. It is very important to us as a team and company that the quality of our instruction, training and education never becomes diluted. Three things that we strongly believe in are the following:

  1. Personal attention to the client is #1! We intentionally limit the number of students that our team can work with at one time; therefore we are always available when we are needed. Each client deserves very close, personal attention at all times. No cell phones, no interruptions and 100% undivided attention is guaranteed. When our clients depart from any of our coaching sessions, they will have a clear, organized and disciplined plan to improve their game, no matter what their current level of golf is. We make it our mission to ensure that all of our clients will improve not only their golf swing, but also become the very best players that they can be.

  2. The GPIA team will attend golf tournaments in which our clients are entered. We have discovered that the competitive golf arena is the absolutely best training ground for our players to learn and for our staff to coach! Understanding how to score in the game and managing your way around a golf course is equally, if not more, important than learning about your golf swing on the driving range. Our tremendous golf learning site, located at Orange County National Golf Center in Orlando, Florida, is one of the best practice facilities in the entire world. There isn’t one shot in the game that can’t be learned at this phenomenal facility. It has specialized areas for everything, with a premium on short game, 2 amazing golf courses that are hosting the 2010 Final Stages of PGA Tour qualifying, and a 42-acre practice area. We utilize our headquarters at OCN to prepare you for each event in which you are entered, whether it is a professional tournament, amateur or junior championship, or simply a recreational round of golf. Our 2010 V1 state-of-the-art video swing analysis systems will show you your swing and the improvements that we have helped you make during a coaching session using high definition 300/1 fps Casio cameras, which are just like the slow motion cameras that you see for golf on TV. Our soundproof viewing and conference room complete with a LCD TV, is a great place to discuss your goals, see your improvements in action and finalize a plan for moving you closer to reaching your dreams and aspirations. The bottom line is that our GPIA team will do anything that we feel is necessary to help each and every golfer to achieve their individual goals to become better players. Attending golf competitions will separate the GPIA from any other golf academy in the world….it will become the future of all golf coaching and instruction.

  3. We do not teach one specific golf swing method! Our focus is on fundamentals and working with you as an individual. There is no underlying agenda from our coaches regarding specific golf swing styles as we are all knowledgeable in every swing known in golf, whether it is single plane, multiple plane, stack & tilt, right side load, draws, fades, shot making execution, controlled trajectory, etc. We are educated and skilled in every style and will help each player with his or her unique golf swing. Take a look at the World Golf Hall of Fame….you won’t see one swing that is alike!

In addition to all of the standard GPIA golf academy options, we are also very excited to announce the opening of the Junior Golf Performance Academy and Pukka Junior Golf Tour. The Academy will consist of a 9-month golf program with a boarding school for our top-level 12-18 year old junior clients, partnering with one of the finest private education in Central Florida at the Crenshaw School. We will also offer commuters an opportunity to join our full-time program as well. With recruiting already underway, this program will consist of the best junior golfers from numerous countries around the world and will open in August of 2010. In addition to the JGPA, our company is launching a new junior golf tour, the Pukka Junior Tour. This tour will be centrally located in Florida and run year round, with 2-3 tournaments available per month for juniors ages 7-19 competing in their age brackets. The tour, a haven for junior golfers to showcase their skills for college coaches, is ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard and our end of the year points leaders in both the boys and girls top 2 divisions will receive exemptions into AJGA events. In addition, the second major of the year at PGA National in June will be ranked by GolfWeek. Our Pukka Tour Championship winners in both the boys and girls division in October 2010 will receive automatic exemptions into the GolfWeek Invitational Championship. The golf courses where our tournaments will be held will be the best in Florida, we will have between 6-10 staff members at each event, our pace of play will be brisk and best of all, and our pricing will have an average tournament cost less than any other major junior golf tour. Please check back regularly for updates on each and every program that is involved with the Academy and Tour. We look forward to discussing and finding the best plan available for you!

We appreciate you visiting and learning more about the GPIA, the next generation in coaching golf.

Sincerely,

A. Spencer Graham III
President, Academy Director
